Jessie Jax Contreras has been a hairstylist since 2003 working in and out of salons as an educator . He loves doing hair and make up, and has traveled  across the midwest to the east coast working trade shows, runways, photoshoots and backstage in opera and theater. He has worked for many companies in different capacities such as Salon Educator, Design Consultant, Hair Technician, Color Specialist, Senior/Master Stylist, Wig Staff and Wig Assistant. Jessie has a background in art, particularly graphite and uses his eye for balance, shape, and color to execute his vision in the hair world. He has trained with many different product and hair color lines and is knowledgeable in period hairstyling, wig construction and dressing. Jessie has been working towards building a presence in theater, most recently Assisting the head of wigs at Chicago Shakespear Theater, also being published in the Great Clips 2015 look book, and being featured in a Great Clips national ad campaign.
